I have for the first time tried to use active primary and i have a few teething problems, which i guess is to be expected, i was wondering if anyone has a solution to a problem i came across.

when i try and draw a line over a protractor it doesnt work - could i get round this using layers? (which ive not got to in the manual yet)

Also when im drawing a line using a protractor or ruler if i've gone a little to far (due to poor mouse control skills) when i reduce the line back the pen marker doesnt decrease ( i hope that makes sense).
how can i get round this

Welcome!

I am not entirely clear what you are saying.... but that's probably my problem rather than yours :D
If by drawing a line over the protractor you mean around the protractor.
Bring the protractor up
Choose a pen
Take your activpen above the protractor and pull it down towards the protractor keeping contact with the board but not writing on it
As you come close the edge of the protractor you will see a little "hat" appear over the curser (semi circle) this means that the pen has effectively attached itself to the protractor and you can draw around it.

Is that what you mean?

If not why would you want to draw over the protractor? I am intrigued

I am afraid I don't know what you mean by the "pen marker doesn't decrease".
