Microsoft have a free download for tablet PC users called Equation Writer. Your write the equation in freehand in the top area and it converts it to a font in the bottom. You can then copy and paste into a flipchart.

I recall some time ago that Toby had a workaround for installing Tablet PC applications on ordinary XP systems. I'll try and search for it.
