Just installed two new boards with brand new duel processor Mac minis. Initially they did not recognise the board at all but having installed the lastest driver package (from the web site) the board is recognised and can be used. However the watermark is still on the screen? Any ideas? I have also tried updating the program with the latest version again from the web to no avail?

HELP ????

James

We are waiting for the release of AP 2.5 for Intel Macs. Until then unfortunately there is nothing you can do about the watermark.

Hi James,

Thanks for posting... just for your info you need never worry about having to post in two areas if its the same issue... I promise we are all so committed (!) we read them all... just saving you some time I hope +wave+

Having said that sorry we can't answer your query at the moment!

Oh dear, I just came on here to post the same message - I couldn't get my macbook to recognise the board, but downloaded the new driver over half term and sorted that out.

It wouldn't be so bad if the watermark was like the one on whatever version of AP was running on my school-provided dell machine, and could be hidden by an object, as this one is right at the top where I usually put a big blue box with the learning objective in for the lesson. The watermark can still be seen over the text, but the children are being very patient, and easily bribed with being allowed to come and tap the vacuum cleaner tool and suck all the scribbles off screen ;)

Shame that I've just seen elsewhere that there isn't going to be an AP 2.5 for macs though :( Ah well, as my colleagues keep telling me, if I will try to be all posh by having a mac, it's my own fault ;)

BUT there is to be a V3 for MAC.... its just we are missing out the 2.5 version... so don't despair. I am also moving onto a MAC so that will be an interesting learning curve for me! +wave+ [clap]

just a quick 'hi' to say that all of our schools are suffering with this problem on their new hardware. Looking foward to the fix. And to version 3!

My lovely ICT tech has just given me AP3 for my Mac. However I still have the watermark at the top :(

(I just read a previous post saying that one user covered the watermark with a big blue box and thought "Oh I do that!" and then realised that was my post from a while back - doh! In my defence it's been a long day...)

So.. watermark with AP3 - can I cure it?

Thanks in advance

Arch

ETA - sorted - found the new board driver. Am happy bunny now :D *goes back to amusing self and colleagues with purile ticker tape messages on board*

I was at a school that had the same watermark problem and was trying to remember exactly what they did. Luckily I glanced back at the screen and realised that there was more to your message. I am glad to hear that you got things sorted![clap]
