For Mac Users:

1. Create a flipchart

2. Click on Main Menu>Flipchart>Export>To Picture Slides

3. Select desired quality JPEG format and where to export to

4. Add the new folder of pictures to iPhoto as an album

5. Sync the new album to your iPod

For PC Users:

1. Create a flipchart

2. Click on Main Menu>Flipchart>Export>To PPT (powerpoint)>As Image slides

3. Select desired quality JPEG format and where to export to

4. Add the new folder of pictures to Adobe Album or Elements

5. Sync the new album to your iPod

I've not actually tried the PC way myself but would like to know if anyone else has tried it!

For more info see the december issue of Mac User.

Now, of course, if you have a Pocket PC, you can also see the animations and rearrange your slides -

Thanks, Vicky-d, that is just such a cool idea! http://www.prometheanworld.com/common/html/vb_forum/images/smilies/clap.gif

With the help of my 12 year old (I need reading glasses to see the screen on my iPod), I downloaded one of my flipcharts from my pc.

The problem we had was that each page in the ppt had to be done individually, we couldn't format the whole flipchart in one go. How could we have done this?

Many thanks for explaining this brilliant idea!

Because I hadn't tried this first on a pc I didn't realise the flipchart got exported as a ppt file.

Anyway there is a way of formatting the flipchart all at once.

If you open the ppt file in PowerPoint then select File>Save as… you can select JPEG file interchange format from the 'Save as type' drop-down menu at the bottom of the browser window.

When you click on save a box should appear asking if you want to save everyslide in the presentation. Select Every Slide then all the pages should be individually saved in a folder on you hard drive.

Hope this helps;)
