Hi all-

I recently upgrade my software to 2.5.82. I was able to install the software, but when it starts loading, I get three error messages:

1. Media Player is not supported. Sound features will be disabled.
2. Flipcharts exist from a previous session. Recover? (no "yes", "no" or "cancel" buttons appear)
3. Run Time Error 339 - Component 'QTTXTSRV.DLL' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

After these messages, the software stops loading.

I am trying to install at home (with no board attached, obviously). I've contacted tech support, but so far, the only advice I have received is suggestions on reinstalling an alternative way, plus uninstalling everything ACTIV and running MSI Cleaner and Reg Clean. I've done this four times, with no luck.

I'm posting here to see if any of you can suggest a solution. I appreciate any ideas you might suggest.

The combination of 1 and 3 may suggest that you are either missing (or have earlier versions) of a number of fundamental system files on your computer.
What version of Internet Explorer and Media Player do you have?
Try getting the latest versions of these products.
Also ensure you install DirectX v9 and see if this helps any.

I have the latest versions of all the programs you listed.

Needless to say, I'm frustrated that I can use the program at home to create flipcharts.

I appreciate your comments.

Thanks!
