Hi,
This may have been posted before, but I saw a presentation this week by Gautam Saha at the Georgia Ed Tech Conference and he showed off (to a group of about 200!!!) how easy it was to create flash files using applications from Contentgenerator.net.
I downloaded one of the applications to my pc. (The one that created flash files to match concepts was free) and tested it out. Very nice. (Although, I think the words are a little small.)
I embedded the flash file in a flipchart and I have posted it (heart disease- my daughter's health book was sitting on the table next to me!)
Thanks, Gautam, great find! And great fun! Now I will have to try your Hot Potato one! [clap]

There are all sorts of games that you can create using Andrew Field's software, some free, some puchasable. Well worth a look.

thanks Lisa.
When I compared my flip using the same matching quiz from andrew's content generator, ,my quiz looks bigger and fills up the whole flipchart unlike your ( where the fonts looks small).
Are you stretching the swf file to match the whol flipchart space when you are making it a placeholder?
I am trying to do some research and see if I can do some simple hacks to increase the font size.
Also I got your private message.
I posted my flipchart on promethean planet today as a zip file.
I will also send it to you now by "yousendit" service.
Sometimes depending on how your spam protector is configured it will send it to your bulk or spam folder. So do check your spam folder if you dont get it.
okay... I will try to upload it on this forum.
Hope the space limitation does not block it.
Here is the attachment as a zip file.

Thanks, I just downloaded your flipchart. And yes, I did not stretch it to its fullest but the fonts are still a little small. I'll resize the placeholder.
Thanks and look forward to trying out some of your cool tools you found!

I stumbled across Content Generator and am excited to embed some of the flash programs into my flipcharts, but don't know how to do it. Can anyone give me a push in the right direction?
Once you create a test with Content generator, it will generate a .swf file and a .html file.
You can then take the .swf file and embed this in a flipchart as a placeholder.

Thanks for your help, but I still don't understand how to embed the file as a place holder. Can you give me more detailed directions?

Not sure which application you are using or platform, but this is what I see using Activstudio on my Mac.
See attachment.
