Locking objects together

Is there a way to lock objects together so that you can move them together as one?

Yes you can!

1)Drag the objects onto the page that you want to "group".

2) Then use the marquee select tool to select the items you want (you do this by dragging from top left to bottom right to "enclose" the objects you want to select.

3)Once you have the objects selected, double click and choose Properties (it's the icon that looks like a little notebook) and select "Identification" and check/tick "grouped."

That should work.

On the PC version you can also select the objectgs and press ctrl-G. I would presume that there is a similar keystroke you can use on the Mac version? You can also assign the keystroke to a user defined icon on your toolbar.

Yes, just tried the keyboard shortcut "Apple-G" on my mac and it worked!
