I am having trouble installing App. disc on emac- 10.4.7- tried different discs as well different computers. Any advice?

what trouble are you having? have you tried contacting technical support?

Yes just spoke with support- I have brand new emacs- as well as 2 older- all 10.4.7- when I try installing app disk- they get "hung up" with RUNNING INSTALLER SCRIPT- tech said they have seen this problem and to drop computer back to 10.3 then upgade?? doesn't make sense since I have to reimage for all district programs.

firstly I'm not aware of apple still producing emacs, they used to (we have one in the office) but not anymore.

Can you confirm that they are emacs.

What software are you running? Activstudio, Activstudio 2, or Activprimary 2?

are you thinking iMac? The machine I am looking at just came from Apple on Monday- it says eMac- it's white and it's a desktop. Also the software just came out brand new Promethean ACTIVboard boxes- ACTIVstudio PE MAX OS X version

are you an administrator user?
which pkg file are you installing when it hangs, the driver, software, etc?
have you tried repairing the disk file permissions (in disk utililty)?
does it give this same error on all of the macs?
