Ok here is the situation. We were doing a training in a lab set up. All participants created mini flipcharts. We saved them all to jump drives (fobs, thumb drives, flash drives) and moved them to a central computer. Unfortunately many of the flipcharts have opened up damaged. The text is messed up or cutting off in the middle of the text boxes. The text locks up and doesn't allow movement with the arrow tool. Many of the features are not working that should be. Any ideas? This is very frustrating.

Hi

This is probably something to do with the resolution that the flipchart was created on rather than it being corrupted. When in your flipchart page , if you click on the S in the top right hand corner then select original scale, this will usually sort it out. Try the others by all means as this may sort the problem also.

One other thing to look at is system specific fonts, if a flipchart has been created on a machine with a special font and the font does not reside on the machine you transport it to it will default to arial.

Or if you are using a MAC, try the size controls neatly hidden on the bottom left frame of the flipchart page.

I would also suggest updating activstudio to the latest version, always a good thing to do. (if you aren't on it already)
