View Full Version : saving a previously saved flp

I've noticed that sometimes (often?) when I open a previously saved flipchart that the file/flp>save option stays grayed out even after I've begun to edit. Since I use Command+S keyboard command instinctively to save my work (which works universally for other applications), I usually think that I have saved my work on AS2 when I haven't. AS2 would prompt me to save if I tried to close the flp but I like to save more often than that. No disasters yet but this makes me nervous. Has anyone else noticed this? What am I not understanding?

Hi Cappy
Sorry for the delay in a reply for you, all the regular Mac users must be on vacation!
I have been playing with a late beta of version 2.5 due for release next month and Command S becomes available as soon as the flipchart is edited. As I haven't got an older version installed \i cannot replicate this problem. Suggest you keep a look out for the new release. My colleague was playing with podcasts the other day and he has put one on iTunes about V2.5. Search iTunes music Store/Podcasts for Activstudio.

As I recall, that was a problem one one of the earlier versions of AS2. You might want to make sure you have the lastest (v. 31) installed. You will see number this on the "splash screen" when you first start the program. Download the lastest upgrade from "Suppor/Software Upgrades" section of the website.
