In the NAACE Summer 2006 Primary Focus on Interactive Teaching Technologies publication Promethean get a real airing.[clap] [clap]

Several articles, one using Activprimary to support speaking and listening and writing, another one where Anne Gould from United Church Schools Trust has written a very good expansion on how our software allows the board to be used well, under the heading Bored with Boards? Revolution to Evolution - A Pedagogical Design Tool? and finally Steve Bunce an ICT Consultant in Northumberland exploits the ad hoc nature of Activote to explore evidence/opinion within a "Justice Court" environment and sums up by saying:

The voting pads motivated the pupils as they liked the idea of the new technology and the instant feedback. The teachers saw the potential of the voting pads in collecting opinions, asking questions, testing knowledge, both for assessment for learning and summative assessment.

Anyone else read any of the above  I tried to see if I could find an online version... but alas :(

Yes, I did, Margaret. Very positive with lots of ideas and shows what can be done when IWB use is no longer an "add on" but is integral in the teaching of concepts and in cognitive development.
