I have had a few problems with my pods, they are used with the hub and I have 16. The last time they were used four would not work, so I changed the batteries as the red light seemed dim and I did not know what else it could be. Today, I have used them again and three of the four still do not work. I have tried to register them again and they are not playing. Also, is there a special tool to get into the back? How long should the batteries last if they are used approx. once a week for about half an hour....... ????

My set are still on the same batteries they came with (I use them at least twice every day) - just over a year ago, but some colleagues have had a couple that need the batteries changing (seems pretty random though). There should be a special tool in the silver suitcase the devices come in (you have to pull out the foamy stuff from the inside of the lid of the case to find it). Can't imagine how you changed the batteries without it!
You should ring tech support if you keep having problems.

Just to let you know, I spoke to the technical support and the three pods are being replaced. I have just read a thread with reference to a 'low battery life' icon appearing in the devices when you are using them.... so now I know.[clap] [clap]

:) I've never seen that icon! The batteries in my kit have lasted well over a year and are still going strong, I only use my set on average twice in a week.

Be very wary of using cheap batteries like 20 for a pound in the pound shop as they will occasionally leak and corrode the circuitry. I would recommend alkaline batteries.
