drag and drop

I was at the ECOO conference in Canada last week, where I was fortunate to see Peter Lambert in action. I was very impressed by the 'master' and learned quite a few new tricks. One thing he did show me was the new drag and drop feature, however I was unable to do this at home. I have downloaded the latest activ studio version, and I am wondering what I am doing wrong. When I try to drag text or pictures I just get a circle with a line through it.
Any ideas?

Welcome. You cannot drag and drop some pictures either because of settings, links, or whatever. All you need to do is to use the camera tool, select area, and choose to send the picture to a flipchart.

Thanks for the nice comments, but I need to assure you I wasn't doing something that nobody else can do. A circle with a line through it, may mean that you are running short of system resources.
Try this: On a fresh startup, open Activstudio. Switch to the flipchart and "window" it
Launch this link:

You will need to window your browser (I use IE 6 and 7) so that you can see some of your flipchart page.
Drag the Polar Bears picture on to your windowed flipchart and choose "Add Objects" from the popup.

Use exactly the same procedure to drag and drop between any MS Office application and your flipchart.
