Hi All,

We just got all of our sets in so that we now have 3 sets of pods in the school. I am wondering what some of you are doing to make them easier for the general staff to use. We now have boards in almost every room and I am hoping that a teacher doesn't have to set up the pods each time. Is it better to use the anonymous session or name each group of pods. I am a big fan of inventory control so I am leaning toward naming and labeling each pod. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

We've only got one set at the moment, and we've got 21 classes. We've numbered all our pods 1-32 and if I want to know the individual results of the children I hand them out according to their 'numbers'. All the children have a number and I'll say if they need their 'own' one or just any. Then I simply hand them out calling the numbers and the children collect them as they're called. That way I'm permenantly in 'anonymous mode' and it doesn't matter. Once I've pasted the results I can analyse them either as a class or individually via their numbers.

Sorry that was quite long and waffly, but I'm not sure how better to phrase it! +wave+

I did this in a class on Tuesday and we numbered them as Alison suggests.... If you use their "number" in the register it seems to work really well! The children knew exactly where they came in the register too... These were 7 and 8 year olds!! [clap]
