Activstudio not responding

We have activstudio on a laptop when trying to open the program up the egg timer comes on then nothing. Have tried un-installing/ re-installing. It appears in the task manager but nothing on laptop screen. Also the calib.exe not responding. Have already contacted technical any ideas welcome.

My wife had this problem. It seemed, in her case, to be a problem with the network (WinSuite) and windows 98. Tech support suggested installing the Windows 95 driver and that sorted the problem. We can't use the activslate though...I think it'll be while before my wife is ready for that any way.
