Connection Problems after instaling Activote

Hi
I am trying to set up Activ vote on a board which is connected via serial connection, after installing the firmware upgrade, the board is re booted there is no noise and there is a cross through the AV icon. Have tried configuring but it keeps failing, this indicates to me there is no power going into the board BUT when the flash pod is plugged in there is a red light on the pod therefore there must be power going to the board somehow?
Have also tried another power pack and lead and the board does still does not work?

Any suggestions?

The first time you power the board after a firmware upgrade the board can take a long time (30 seconds ish) before the beeps. This is because one of the devices on the electronics need to be reprogrammed. If you pull the power before the beeps you could interrupt the reprogramming and leave the board in an unknown state. I'm sure tech support have a solution to this so I suggest you give them a call, and they will be able to diagnose whether this is what has happened.
