Snap to Grid feature

I am trying to use the snap to grid feature in ACTIVStudio for Mac, version 2.1, build 29. I know where teh tool is, but I can't seem to get the object to snap to the grid. Any hep would b greatly appreciated.

Hi,

To make the feature work make sure that:
1. Snap to Grid is enabled. For this double click to the flipchart page with grid to show Page Edit toolbox and make sure the button "Snap to Grid" is pressed.

2. object you want to snap "Can Snap'. For this double click to the object you want to snap to grid to show Object Edit toolbox, click to the Properties button that will bring the Object Properties palette. Then from the list on the palette select the Restrictors section and make sure the object "Can Snap"

3. Click and drag the object will produce snapping after you release the mouse button.


That's it. Hope it helps.

I have found that I sometimes need to make the grid larger to allow more space to allow it to snap.
