.swf thumbnails not showing

Hi guys,

I am at a school right now that is using mac's for their ACTIVboard.

When we go to the resources, the thumbnails for the flash files are not showing.

They can play but its hard to decide what to play when you cannot see it.

I am using version 2.1.31 on a mac powerbook g4. The only thumbnail I get for an swf is the camera (see attached.)

I don't remember ever getting a thumbnail for those even going back to v1.2. but then I am an old man and my memory is not what it used to be. Did they make IWB's to go with Commodore 64s? :D

Mike, in the PC version, you get a thumbnail. But that may be the price you have to pay for using a technologically superior mac..... :p

Neither ACTIVstudio 1 nor ACTIVstudio 2 show thumbnails for flash (swf) activities or QuickTime movies in the Resource manager. When the Resource Manager was originally written it was felt it would slow down performance too much. However Mac hardware and OS X have increased dramatically in performance, so we will include an option in the next version of ACTIVstudio to display thumbnails for both formats.

P.S.

I can confirm that Margaret is indeed elegant.
