The attached flipchart is designed for KS3 RE. The pupils already have a great deal of knowledge about the Nativity but often cannot identify or explain the scriptural evidence for their ideas. This flipchart helps to explore the similarities and differences between the accounts in Matthew 2 and Luke 2.
AND it's also quite fun!!

:) Thanks to Peter for one of the many links he posted for KS1 - the idea for my flipchart came from a weblink there.

I teach this and would be really interested in it - but it won't open  says it's made in a newer version of Software :( but I have Activestudio 2 - do you mind me asking what you prepared it in? ????

Created in AS2 2.1 (build23)
Maybe you need to visit http://www.Prometheanworld.com/uk/html/customer_care/software.shtml for an upgrade? Hope that does the trick.

Sometimes I can't open flipcharts directly from the Forum - instead I save them to my laptop and open them through AS2. This always seems to work. Hopefully it will for you! +wave+
I just hope you think it is worth it when you finally see my flipchart!

Sharing stuff on the forum is really easy. Just click reply to thread or new thread and type in your message as usual - then scroll down a bit and there is the section for adding a file (manage attachments). Go on add something!! There don't seem to be many IT literate people around in RE do we need to make the most of those who are!! I look forward to your next posting (with attachment!). +wave+

Hi,

Although I am the first to encourage anyone to submit and contribute in the forum, I think that if we use this as our main form of sharing than the wider users will not get the benefit.

I am really keen that we offer a form of "hand holding and encouragement" to users of all levels.

It is true to say that for the main part the people contributing here either by way of ideas or suggestions are the most confident and so if you are going to contribute something here can you make sure that you also offer it in the main resources area of the website as this is where the real sharing of resources should be happening.

Sharing here can also take place if people have something particularly pertinent to share ie a "new or innovative" use of the software or maybe a hot topic as in this area to try and feed people's own ideas, but I would not want this to become our sharing area of resources over the website resource area.

I hope this comes across as a genuine concern to get it right rather than put anyone off from sharing their good ideas. We all need them as we all have times when the creative juices need wetting!!

As I think I posted somewhere else, the best way of finding out what has been added to the resources area on the website is to click on the "what's new option".

Fair comment Margaret - lol sasy she as she has just psoted her first ever file! :o

Only thing I would say is that as a relative newbie I have taken a while to suss out which forums actually do what etc

Without the discussion on here I wouldn't have known of Charlotte's existence and it would be cool to swap stuff we both teach rather than uplaod random stuff. Am quite ahppy to do it in the other bit though.

While we're at it - ???? can someone please tell me how she did that cool see through magnifying glass thingy onthis flipcahrt - i sooooooooo want to be able to do that.
[clap]
