Hi
I downloaded this flp. that Lisa Dubernaud put together. It has so much to offer to the non specialist in terms of sounds and identification of different instruments! I think she has been ingenious in choosing her people from the resources so that they appear as though they were made for the job!! [clap]
Worth a look!

Yeesh, how good must it be to be a music teacher?! Resources are just sitting there waiting to be used!

I had reported it didn't work in ACTIVstudio.
Sorted it out - works in ACTIVprimary but not ACTIVstudio!

Check which build of AS you're using. The flipchart works fine on my build AS PE 2.1(build 23)
You can download the latest software version patches from the software downloads page.

I have installed the latest Mac build which is 2..0.16.
Each of the people on the first page is an object that I can move, resize, etc.

I'm so glad I found this! Our music teacher will be so happy! She just asked me recently if sound could be added to a flipchart, I was going to show her how in our next study group session.
By the way, it worked for me in both ACTIVstudio 2 Professional (build 13) & ACTIVprimary 2.1 (build 43) both for MAC.
Thanks!

Sorry that flipchart got attributed to me! I have developed lots of them, but not this music one.
Sorry, Dan!

The music flp is brilliant. Now I am going to blow Dan's trumpet!
He will probably hate me for saying this, but Dan is a creative and talented developer of Activprimary and Studio resources integrated with Macromedia Flash content. See some great examples of his work at:
http://www.crick.northants.sch.uk/Flipflash.htm
With the 2.5 versions of AP and AS, the flash content will be able to be embedded as a placeholder object in the flipchart.
I have attached an example... it should work for all of you on pre 2.5 versions.

Thanks Dan,
The music flip is spot on. I needed some inspiration in this area and have now got it. I may even take it further by using some more muticultural instruments, such as a sitar.
Selda. [clap]
What I like most about the MusicClub flp is the 'magic' magnifying glass. Brilliant! (Once I worked it out). I have added it to all my colleagues resource libraries, and my Y4s are now making 'hidden' item flipcharts for use with the magnifying glass.
Thanks for a great idea.

Seconded Dug, but, I'd like an orchestral string section in there, not just the electronis string band, this would be really useful to use when teaching about the orchestra and its families, I'm planning on doing an extra page or two on this using the same methods as the rest of the flipchart.....and yes, it's really good!
