Each year I take Yr 9 to Ypres in Belgium to explore the poetry of WW1 and to get a sense of the scale of this 'war to end all wars' by visiting the battlefields of the area. I attach 3 pics to this post all are taken in or around Ypres. I have loads and loads of info on this type of trip if anyone is ever planning to take a group feel free to email me and I'd be happy to help with resources / ideas.

I have used the 2 information sheets / pics you attached and made one addition. If in the flipchart you click on the centre of the poppy on the cross - to the left - an Mp3 file should play the Last Post from Ypres, Belgium.
