It was suggested that I place this thought on the forum to see what other people think. I have been doing some work with the ActiVote and I think that it would be a good idea to make the buttons different colours. I have used stickers, which was quite effective, but think it would be better if you could see the letters through it so that there is a choice. I think this would be good for younger children and children who have difficuluty discriminating letters/shapes etc.

They are being used with a range of ages from reception to year 6. (I'm working with a small group of teachers who are part of the Blackburn with Darwen project).

Hmm.. just a side thought... would it be possible to get the learners to decide the course of the lesson?? Press A to do this activity, Press B to do that activity and have the flipchart deduce what the most popular option is and go to a specific page in the flipchart off the results.

Hmmm just a thought.
