Developer Edition with 2.5 will allow actions, etc. to be assigned to grouped objects or to a effect a grouped object.

Version 3 (coming in new year) also has this feature allowing actions to be set on groups.

What I also think is amazing is just how many 'yes you can' answers are being given. It really shows how much Promethean are listening to people 'in the field's' ideas and suggestions.

Version 3 of both AP and AS is a MAJOR release for Promethean - and has literally hundreds of tweaks, enhancements and several big new features - many, many of these ideas are drawn from this very forum.

I have been through in detail through the request forums and tried to close off the threads where we have solved something or have a new position so they do not keep coming up.

Interestingly there is much replication - e.g. similar request in a different form or in another thread, etc.

At least I think I am personally pretty clear on what we have still left to look at from a user forum perspective... so no rest for the teams next year...

The other thing that is apparent - is the "latent power" of the software - when used with other applications or devices that people are discovering.

If there is one overiding objective for Promethean Planet, this forum and indeed version 3 itself - it has to be about making the full breadth of these ideas and best practices as accessible as possible to all teachers.
