New User- Help!

I just found this site tonight and see so many things I want to use in my class! I currently use Elluminate, I teach online. Is there a way to put these files into Elluminate? I have downloaded a few, but I can't get them to open- it says they have loaded 100%, but they never appear? Thanks for any info!

Yes, there are tons of resources here that you could use to teach various courses online via web conferencing tools! First, I assume you have either ActivInspire Personal or Professional on your computer and can open the flipcharts and use them.

Secondly, I use ActivInspire all the time to demonstrate things "virtually" using flipcharts but I typically use Webex or GoToMeetings so am not very familiar with Elluminate (not that it's not good, I just don't have an account.) When I use the flipcharts, I don't use the "show document" feature but the "show/share desktop feature" and just open the application and the flipchart I need there. (I do use show document with pdfs.) I can give control to my screen to another and they can manipulate my flipcharts "at a distance." If they are on an interactive whiteboard, it is like they are on MY Activboard!

If you go the the section on Planet called ActivRoom, it has several resources for you to work with for Elluminate. I believe that the Activroom is using Elluminate technology. There is some technical guidelines there.

I have shared flipcharts using Elluminate - works very well for online training. A fast connection helps...
