Demonstration for a Corporate Company

Hello Activusers????,

just to ask whether there is any flipchart/resources available which i can use for a presentation promoting Promethean to a Corporate Company representatives? (ie these guys are not teachers but company managers looking for an iwb for their boardroom)

I might start simple and ask them to consider the board as a 'flipchart with a memory' and then perhaps controlling a few websites they use/monitor so they get the basics

If you have Activote devices you could try using the Powerpoint plugin to highlight feedback driven presentations with a tool they know

Once they got the idea of feedback, I might import a powerpoint they use and demo the Promethean tools to draw and annotate the slides and do more ad-hoc questions

Maybe get them to brainstorm what they want to see transformed in their meetings - so they uncover the functions they want too

Using the camera tool is great for snapshotting images from docs and website - then use annotations so the ActivBoard is a great device for collaboration in meetings and to save the results.

I still have the flipchart we made when we held the first collaborative planning session to map out Promethean Planet.

Another tool available on Planet is ActivConnect - this enables you to connect to a remote person or office and share your desktop. ActivConnect uses Elluminate software - all you need to do is open an account and its free. Thi smeans you could have an ActivBoard in New York and another in your Tokyo office then connect up.

These are a bit more advanced and involved than what Mark suggested in his note. Worth starting simple using the flipchart and then voting is always interesting!
