I have been putting flipcharts on my website for a few years now for other teachers across the parish to use. All of a sudden though, they are in compressed format and when you go to download, it's just a bunch of images. Many teachers use what I have online, but now they can't. I thought it was my webhosting site, but after a month of back and forth, we have found out that it is something to do with flipcharts. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi ,
This is a MIME issue and typically affect Internet Explorer browser.
Firefox does not appear to be affected by this.

I have tried to replicate this by downloading files from my web hosting site, but could not duplicate the problem.

For Internet users who are affected with this problem, ask them to right click the download link and choose "Save Target as". Sometimes this resolves the issue.

Also try to download these files from the following links and see if they download properly or they download as zip files. Try both Internet Explorer and Firefox

I use a site called dropio to upload and share flipcharts because it's hard to share because of their size

Deb,

I have watched an overview of dropio. I am trying to provide a place in addition to Promethean Planet to upload a flipchart for others to access easily. How are others able to see your uploads? Do you place a link on your blog/website or do you provide a URL? Also, do guests need a Flipchart viewer or password to see your files?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!
