I have many powerpoint files I wish to convert to flipchart files. I have managed to successfully import them into ActivStudio, however the quality of the text/images is extremely poor. Can this be fixed in the next update?

Hi Mei-Wah
I have to say that I haven't done any conversions because most of my stuff is now in flipchart format, but I still use PowerPoint for certain things and I have to agree, the text quality is not very good. (i've just tried it.)

This is not a brilliant solution if you have lots of ppts to convert - each with many pages, but you can select individual blocks of text and drag them onto the flipchart page.
You would do this by either: 1) making sure that you could see both the ppt and the flipchart page on your screen - say taking up half the screen each- then highlight the text you want in the ppt and drag it onto the flipchart page. You will see a little plus sign and when you release the button, it will say "Drop Text" or "Drop image".
Or, 2) once the text is highlighted, right click Copy, then on the flipchart page, right click Paste and it may ask you whether you want to paste text or image - depending wehat you are copying.
The positive about doing it this way is that you have live text instead of an image of the text, so you can change the font size or use the fill tool to recolour individual words or use Deconstruct to make a copy of key words.

Hello Sharon,
Thanks for your prompt reply, I will have a go at your suggestions (option 2 is probably the best bet for now!!)
