Did you read about Su Doku on page 5 of Friday's TES? I think this may become very popular as an extra curricular activity in schools and could work well on ACTIVboards. It was suggested it could sweep the nation as the Rubik's Cube of 2005.
It would be great to get a flash activity written that generated Su Doku puzzles (Dan Bunker might regard this as a challenge!) In the meantime, I've submitted a Su Doku flipchart to the Primary resources area to get things started.

Scroll down the page to find it! (http://www.prometheanworld.com/uk/scripts/links_sql/page.cgi?d=1)

How about an Animaru (animal) Doku for early years? A simple one attached. Actually, I've unattached it and reposted below. As Sarah pointed out, it didn't work. The one below does - I think!!

Love the animal Su Doku flips Sharon - however unless I've misuderstood the idea some of the grids can't be completed if you have to have each picture once in the small group (ie. 2x2 grid).

Nevertheless I know what my Year 1s will be doing for problem solving tomorrow.
Thanks
