Old Vote and slate showing...Help

Hi folks, I'm teaching a course on somebody elses system. I brought my votes and slate but I am getting the old vote and the slate is not approved for your country message. I fixed this on my board, how do I fix this on this board????

I spoke to Gary and he said to re-set the pod connection. This did not work.

If I remember correctly, I need to upgrade the flash firmware on the board...it is an old one. Anybody know where to get this program???

Sometimes the firmware does need to be upgraded. Do you know how long the board has been in situ ? Once connected to that particular board, if you right click in the system tray over the driver icon and select ABOUT this will tell you the firmware. For 75" boards For ACTIVote2 to work it needs to be 2.63, 2.71 or 2.73 for the New Proactive 78" boards with inbuild reciever the firmware needs to be 3.29 and above. You can request copies of these firmware upgrades from technical support. Please contact technical support to talk you through this simple upgrade process.

The firmware was 2.70. It turned out to be the pod. I brought the one over from my classroom and it worked. Gary is sending me a replacement!!!

I have just come back from NECC (BETT in the US for those of you who don't know) and I was at an event where you were announced as one of the winners of a competition. I thought for a moment you were going to be there, but alas no.

Just to make people aware if there is a problem with the pod it maybe an idea using the file attached.

The correct way to connect the pod is when the board is switched off. Connect the pod. Turn the board on you will get 1 beep and a red light on the pod and IR windows if you have an ACTIV 75. After 30seconds to a minute you will get 2-3 more beeps. This has successfully updated the pod. If this does not happen successfully you can use the file below. This will force update the pod. Once updated reset the board and pc and the MkII Voting devices will appear in the device registration program.

I guess I will have to meet you in the UK in October!

I had a pre-scheduled trip to visit my mom and they notified me about 1 week before NECC.

I had another pod and changed them out, it was the pod....

Support is excellent!!!
