Use this section as your guide to shopping on Promethean Planet and see just how easy it is to get started with your lessons using ready-made, top quality Publisher Created Resources.

If you’re purchasing Publisher Created Resources, you’ll see it’s effortless to  get started using our ready-made, top quality ActivPacks and ActivLessons. These have all been created in ActivSoftware format, which means all you have to do is download them and use them instantly.

If you have difficulty accessing any items you have purchased from the Planet Store, please visit the Promethean Knowledgebase for technical and product assistance.

If you are still unable to resolve the problem, please contact our customer support team using the online form provided in the Knowledgebase. You should include your order details and a brief message to explain the problem. A member of the support team will then help you to access the products you have purchased.

1. Create your account

Create a free account with us before you start shopping. Complete and submit the registration form and within minutes you’ll be able to download our free resources, buy our store products, have access to forum discussions & blog posts and be able to interact with Planet’s global teaching community.

You can login at any time by using the link in the top right corner of every page.

2. Find the items you want

There are three distinct types of products to choose from:

a) Publisher Created Resources
You can browse our range of Publisher Created Resources by using the store drop-down menu. Simply filter your results by age grade, subject area or publisher name. Alternatively, select Publisher Resources from our search options menu located in the top right-hand corner of the page and browse at your leisure.

b) Training Courses from ActivLearning
You can also browse our online training courses via the drop-down menu under Store.

c) Accessories and Spares
These handy items are also available under the drop down menu in the Store.  These items are currently only available to our members located in the United Kingdom.

3. Adding items to your shopping cart

If you want to buy anything from our store, click the "Add to Cart" button on the item's product page. Once you've added an item to your “Shopping Cart”, keep searching or browsing until your basket contains all of the items you want to order.

You can view the contents of your cart at any time using the link in “My Shopping Cart” at the top right of every page of our website.
If you leave the site at any time, the items will remain in your basket for future visits to Planet.

To remove an item from your cart, simply select "View Cart" and click the X next to the item you would like to discard.

4. Proceed to checkout

Take a moment to review all of the items you've placed in your “Shopping Cart”. You can edit your order to amend the items at any time. You can also amend your shipping and billing addresses.

When you're ready to place an order for everything in your cart, select “Checkout Now” on the Shopping Cart summary screen.
If you haven’t done so yet, you’ll be asked to register for a Planet account before you checkout.

5. Complete your purchase

You still have the option to edit your order details at this stage. Once you’re happy with your order and we have your correct billing and shipping address, click the “Proceed to Payment” button.

After you have successfully entered all your payment details, and they have been accepted, you will be notified that your transaction has been successful.

You will be given:

1) A unique order number
2) A customer reference number, and
3) An option to print a receipt (we recommend you keep these for your records).

To complete the process, an email will also be sent to you confirming these details and you will then be directed to a page listing all your purchases.
