    This flipchart is geared for 3rd through 5th grade. It goes through the basics of identifying the different states of matter: solids, liquids, and gases. It also has an exciting (and easy) experiment for students to combine substances, get a chemical reaction, and create a whole new state of matter. This lesson was geared towards ELL students with more visuals and modeling being provided for language support. It also has reading integrated with the science lesson.
