    Publisher Created Resource from Dunelm e-Learning, Pre 1914 Poetry is a series of 15 flipcharts, each designed to provide a full lesson of pre-prepared activities. Each Pre-1914 flipchart concentrates on a poet and one of their poems and most contain audio of the poems.

    The flipcharts include a variety of engaging activities which concentrate on language, rhyme, themes, alliteration and interpretation and include interactive exercises such as matching, ordering, multiple choice, short answer, sorting and drag and drop.

    This lesson contains an introduction to the Poet Chidiock Tichborne and a short biography. The lesson progresses onto his poem “Tichborne's Elegy” and contains full interactive text of the poem and activities including vocabulary match, matching phrases, rhyme and what does it mean?
